About Los Cabos
Los Cabos is comprised of two towns, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo located about 20 miles apart and connected by a
four-lane highway. The area between the two towns along the coastline it is known as ¨the corridor¨ and where all major
developments are located.
Cabo San Lucas is one of the most popular destinations in Mexico for fishermen, golfers, wedding couples or family reunions.
Includes over a 350 slip marina, which holds many international fishing tournaments. One of the highest paid fishing tournaments
in the world is the Bisbee´s Black and Blue Marlin Tournament with around 280 participants and the prize of over $ 3 million US.
Dollars. The town is best known for its lively atmosphere, wide selection of restaurants and international cuisine and the landmark formation,
¨El Arco¨,where the Pacific Ocean meet with the Sea of Cortes.

San Jose del Cabo a quaint colonial town with authentic Mexican architecture, is the cultural heart of Los Cabos.The streets here
are lined with art galleries, cafes, fine restaurants and boutiques. San Jose del Cabo is located approximately 10 minutes from the
Los Cabos International Airport and 25 minutes from the tip of the Baja penincula(Land End) located in Cabo San Lucas.
Los Cabos is on Mountain time and enjoys a mild Maditerranean climate, usually with low humidity. The cool breezes from the Sea
of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean make Los Cabos a tropical paradise.
The average annual temperature is a warm 80°F (27°C) and there are usually more than 350 days of sunshine every year.
Los Cabos by air is 1 hour 45 minutes from Phoenix and San Diego, 2 hours from Los Angeles, 2 hours 30 minutes from San Francisco.

Activities
Beaches:
Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach which are surrounded by Land´s End, the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes. Accessible only by
water taxi or glass-bottom boat.
Medano Beach. The safest swimming beach in Los Cabos. Here you can rent kayak, sail, snorkel, wave runners or take a water taxi
to Playa Del Amor (Lovers Beach). Medano has restaurants and beach clubs like The office Restaurant, Baja Cantina Beach, Mango
Deck Bar and Grill and more.
Along the corridor are many more playas. Chileno and Santa Maria are great areas for swimming, diving and snorkeling while Playa
Costa Azul is a great area for surfing.
Golf.
Los Cabos is Mexico´s number one golf resort destination. The area currently has eight championship courses. Palmilla Golf Club

Sport Fishing.
Los Cabos is often referred to as the ¨Marlin Capital of the World.¨Record-breaking numbers of marlin and mahi-mahi, more than
40,000 a year, ranging in size from 100 pounds to over half a ton. Blue and Black marlin season runs June through December,
striped marlin are plentiful year-round.
